Dr. Derrick Hinkle

Mountain Dental is excited to welcome Dr. Hinkle and his wife, Erica, to work with us in our Dubois practice.

Dr. Hinkle graduated with a doctorate in dental surgery from West Virginia University in 2001 and soon after moved to Montana where he met his wife, Erica. After the couple married in 2003, they moved to Buffalo, Wyoming. They built a practice in Buffalo for the next 8 years.

While living in Buffalo, the family visited Dubois and fell in love with the area and all the beauty it offers. In 2007, they began building their home on Union Pass Road with the hope of one day living there. This dream became a reality when they were able to move to Dubois in May of 2020.

After commuting to Casper and working at Community Health Center of Central Wyoming for the last 2 years, Dr. Hinkle is happy for the opportunity to be part of the Dubois community and provide dental care for the people of Dubois and surrounding areas. The couple has three children – Nate, who is a sophomore at Dubois High School; Camden, who is a 6th grader, and Sadie who is in the 4th grade.

Melissa Sullivan

Melissa was born in Lander but grew up in Northern California. She moved back to Lander 12 years ago. She graduated from the University of Wyoming and has 12 years of Dental Office Manager experience. She has a husband of 18 years named EJ and 2 daughters Delaney and Dempsey. In her spare time she likes to road trip to watch her girls play soccer, run XC and track and participate in Gymnastics Meets. Melissa’s true passion is taking care of dogs, she even has 6 of her own.

Alexis Alexander

Lexie moved to Lander three years ago from Laramie. She has been a Dental Assistant for two years, and hopes to further her education in the Dental field. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

Lynne

Lynne moved from Bonne Terre, Missouri in 2015 when she and her husband, Henry, became caretakers of the University of Missouri Biological Field Camp located in Sinks Canyon. She graduated from St. Louis Community College in 1994 and has worked steadily ever since. She absolutely loves Wyoming. He hobbies include: hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing and camping with her husband of 38 years and her 2 “boys” Atticus and Boo. She also loves to travel with family on their annual cruise. She loves to read and enjoys keeping up with new concepts in dentistry as well as health and nutrition. She prides herself in getting to know her patients and providing them with excellent care.

Nicole

Nicole joined the Mountain Dental team in 2016. She has worked in the dental field for 2 years. She is at home working in this office and enjoys expanding her dental knowledge and skills. Nicole truly loves working with our patients and their families. When she is not working, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids. They enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, and making quality memories as a family.

Judy

Judy joined out team in January 2017. She and her husband Chris have lived in Lander, WY for over 20 years. Judy has been practicing dental hygiene for over 28 years. She really enjoys getting to know and building relationships with her patients, both young and old. She enjoys bicycle trips and early morning coffee time on her porch! She can also be found teaching fitness classes at the gym.

Dr. Todd Sutton, D.D.S.

Dr. Todd Sutton was born to Air Force parents in Anchorage, Alaska. After attending 3 elementary schools, 3 Junior high schools and 3 High schools, he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at Brigham Young University.  He was accepted on scholarship to the Dental School at the University of Iowa in 1990.  He graduated with honors from the school in 1994.  During school he completed 2 Research Projects and presented them at the International Dental Research Association annual meetings. He moved to Lander, WY and began working as an independent contractor to Dr. Bruce Whiting in August 1994. After 2 years, he purchased the practice from Dr. Whiting who continued to work with him until 2001.

Dr. Sutton served as president of the Wyoming Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry from 1996-2001.  He has also served as a dental evaluator for Clinical Research Associates from 1998 to the present. Dr. Sutton is the 2nd of 10 children in his family. He married Brooke Woolett in 1989. Brooke is a native of Lander, WY and was a dental assistant for Dr. Whiting while attending Lander Valley High School. They have 5 children, Thomas, Jessica, Sarai, Sage and Todd. On his off-time, Dr. Sutton enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, golf, kayaking, and working on his land.
