Restoring Smiles in Lander & Dubois, WY For 70+ Years

You smile is one of your most important assets, so it is essential to keep it healthy. If you are missing teeth due to dental decay or extractions, it is important to replace the missing teeth. Leaving gaps in your smile cannot only make it look unsightly, but it can limit your ability to eat and speak, as well as cause bone damage and changes to your facial structure.

What is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant consists of titanium screws which are surgically inserted into your jawbone. This replaces the root of a tooth. Once inserted, the screw will bond with the surrounding bone structure. It may take up to six months for this bonding to occur.

Once the anchor is secure and stable in your mouth, a crown is attached to the screw, effectively replacing your missing tooth. You must have sufficient bone structure in order to be a candidate for dental implants.

What are the Benefits of Dental Implants?

Dental implants offer a permanent restoration option to restore health and aesthetics to your smile. Successful implants will help prevent your remaining teeth from shifting, improve chewing ability, and preserve facial and bone structure.

This restoration option can be used to restore individual teeth or as an anchor for partial and full dentures. For some patients, a special denture can be made. This denture attaches to the implant, essentially making it non-removable.
