Mountain Dental was originally founded in Lander, WY in the 1940s. Dr. Whiting bought the practice in 1964, and in 1973, he moved it to its current location. Dr. Todd Sutton came into the practice with Dr. Whiting in 1994. They worked together for six years until Dr. Whiting retired in 2001.
In 2012, we expanded our practice to a second location in Dubois, WY. Both Dr. Sutton spends one day a week working with the people of that wonderful town. As our practice has grown, so has our staff. In 1994, Mountain Dental had a staff of three — one hygienist, one chairside assistant, and one front desk assistant. We currently have a staff of 10: four hygienists, four chairside assistants, and two front desk assistants.
