Dental Hygiene

We have the best hygienists in the area. They are extremely gentle and professional. We also give them plenty of time to perform their services so that neither the patient or hygienist feels rushed in any way.

Athletic Mouthguards & Night Guards

Mouthguards serve a range of purposes for patients. Whether you grind and clench your teeth while you sleep or are an active participant in sports, we recommend wearing a custom mouthguard for protection. Both athletic mouthguards and night guards are placed over the top of your teeth and act as a protective layer between your top and bottom teeth. We will work with you to help you find a mouthguard that is well-fitted for your mouth and addresses your needs.

Routine Cleanings & Exams

Attending regular cleanings and exams with our team is an important part of maintaining your immediate and long-term oral health. These appointments are essential for patients of every age. Our goal is to make these appointments as comfortable for you as possible. During your visit, we will remove any plaque or tartar buildup from your teeth and examine your mouth for any signs of oral cancer, gum disease, or irregularities.

Pediatric Dentistry

While our practice treats patients of all ages, we do treat many under the age of 12. Our services for children are designed to help them feel calm, welcome, and relaxed while they are in our care. Though most children do very well without any sedation of any kind, we do offer nitrous oxide for all ages and oral conscious sedation for teenagers for our more anxious patients. Dentures & Partials

Dentures can provide you with a great restorative option if you are missing all or most of your teeth. Partials may be recommended if you still retain some of your natural teeth. Both dentures and partials are designed to look like your natural teeth and enhance your smile. For some patients, they feel dentures give them a better smile than they had before! Our dedicated team works with each patient to determine which restoration option helps them best address their immediate and long-term dental health needs.

Extractions

If you have a tooth that is beyond repair or has so much decay it is putting other teeth at risk, an extraction may be necessary. Poorly positioned or overcrowded teeth may also be a cause for extraction. Our team will work with you to determine the best treatments and replacement options for the tooth. This includes dental implants. Our goal is to make sure you are comfortable throughout every step of the procedure. We want to ensure your oral health is protected for the future.

Root Canal Treatments

Our doctors and team has received many hours of instruction in performing root canal treatments. This procedure is necessary when a cavity has reached the pulp of a tooth. If you have experienced severe trauma to a tooth, a root canal may also be necessary. During the procedure, we will clean out and disinfect the interior of the tooth and remove the infected pulp. The canals of the tooth are then sealed to prevent further bacterial infections. To help return the tooth to normal function, the tooth is restored with a filling or crown. This adds strength and stability to the tooth structure.

We perform root treatments on all teeth we feel can be done with a level of instrumentation and skills. If your tooth requires more specialized instruments than we have in our office, we will refer you to a specialist. This ensures you receive the care you need.

Crowns

If your tooth cannot be fixed with bonding material or is in an advanced stage of tooth decay, a dental crown may be necessary. This restoration options helps to restore strength, aesthetics, and function to the affected tooth. The material we use for your crown depends on which area of your mouth is being restored.

Oral Conscious Sedation

We are very experienced at administering oral conscious sedation and offer it to patients age 12 and up. Conscious sedation induces a minimal state of sedation which allows the patient to relax through the procedure, while having very little memory of their procedure. This assists us in providing timely, high quality, precise dental care.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Our cosmetic dentistry services focus on improve the appearance and aesthetics of your teeth, gums, and smile. We offer a comprehensive range of cosmetic dentistry services to help you achieve the smile you have been dreaming of.

Composite/White Fillings

Composite or white fillings provide you with a more conservative restoration option than silver/amalgam fillings. After cavities have been removed, a filling is used to restore the tooth. The materials used are durable and can withstand the forces of chewing. In addition to improving tooth stability, strength, and color, this type of filling protects against broken teeth and saves natural tooth structure. To ensure your filling is virtually undetectable, we will carefully match the composite material to your natural tooth structure and color.

Veneers

Dental veneers are used to correct imperfections in your smile, whether it is by closing gaps and spaces, straightening teeth, or repairing chips. Veneers provide you with a permanent restoration option and are typically made of porcelain and other tooth-colored materials. The veneer is bonded to your teeth by strong adhesives, are stain resistant, and look and feel like your natural teeth.

Teeth Whitening

Having a bright, white smile not only makes your teeth look healthier, it can give you a boost in confidence. Mountain Dental provides in-office Zoom Whitening treatments to patients. This is a safe and effective teeth whitening treatment which can be customized based on your needs and lifestyle. It is known for its much shorter treatment times and longer lasting results.
